Jury Systems Incorporated was founded as a California corporation on January 29, 1997 with the sole purpose of providing jury management solutions centered on its JURY+® Classic jury management system.
Prior to January 1997, the principals and employees who founded Jury Systems Incorporated worked to develop the system and provide these same jury management objectives through another company.
The history begins over twenty years ago when, in 1988, after two years of analysis and design, a custom mainframe Jury Management System (JMS) was built for the Superior Court of the County of Los Angeles, the largest County court/jury operation in the world.
In 1990 JMS was re-architected to run strictly on personal computers and Local Area Networks. This launched the product known as JURY+® Classic which was successfully deployed in over 250 state and county courts throughout the United States.
In the mid-90’s a new version of JURY+, that included a relational database and a graphical user interface presentation was announced, prototyped and presented for user review. The initial production version of JURY+ Next Generation was released in 1999 by Jury Systems Incorporated. Since then, the system has continued to evolve; incorporating new technologies such as image processing, Web Access, IVR interface and other business functionality that solves the Jury Management problems of nearly 400 courts throughout the United States.
The Jury Systems Incorporated staff has been involved in Jury Management for over twenty years. Their experiences include business analysis and solution engineering as well as designing, building, installing, training and supporting jury management systems. Our staff consists of a mix of information systems experts and former court professionals. This makeup is reflective of a company that is singularly focused on jury and whose goal is to provide its customers with unparalleled support and service.
